Cartridge Heaters (Low Density)

Low Density Cartridge Heaters are fabricated using high quality nickel chrome wire. They are wound helically and placed inside ceramic insulators. Cartridge heaters are tubular in shape and very compact. They are used for process heating in various industrial applications. Our low density cartridge heaters are known for efficient heat transfer, long life, corrosion resistance and for high temperature range operations.

Mounting Bore :

There can be clearance of 0.15mm to 0.30 mm between the cartridge heater and the tube.

» High density cartridge heaters are recommended for higher temperature and wattages.

Cartridge Heaters (High Density)

To determine Fit :

Fit = Largest hole ID - Min heater OD
Eg : Heater OD = 12.5 mm (± 0.06mm Std. tolerance)
Hole ID = 12.6 mm (± 0.02mm hole tolerance)
Minimum heater O.D = 12.44 mm
Largest Hole I.D = 12.62 mm
Fit = 12.62 - 12.44 = 0.18 mm (Maximum permissible clearance)

Terminals :

Fibre glass or Teflon wire crimped or welded to terminals. Fibre glass wire with SS metal braiding. Wires protected with SS or GI flexible conduits. All wires are available in straight or right angle exit. Drawing or sample required for special type terminals.

Split Type Cartridge Heaters

Electron Systems Split Type Cartridge Heaters are developed for high temperature application. Helically wound resistance coil is placed inside the tube filled with MgO powder and compacted for faster and efficient heat transfer.
